Charter Bus Travel tips

Listed below are some helpful travel tips to help you prepare.

Tips for Healthy Travel:

* Pack two of all medical items (glasses, contact lenses, dentures) in case you need a spare.

* Be sure to have a brief medical history with you at all times (insurance company name and address, social security number, medical history, allergies, blood type, current medications/dosages, name and address of emergency contact person).

* Pack a small first-aid kit with aspirin or aspirin substitutes, vitamins, cold tablets, stomach remedies, bandage strips, and your usual prescription medication.

* If you are diabetic, pack all necessary snacks and medications within reach in case of meal changes or delays, and see your physician before you leave for additional advice.

Tips for Packing for a Tour:

* Carry one copy of travel documents with you (passport, visa, birth certificate, tickets, credit cards, traveler's checks) and keep one in a safe place.

* Bring at least one major credit card in case of emergency, and always carry your driver's license for photo identification.

* Check the weather reports for your destination and wear layers so you can add or remove clothing according to the climate.

* Don't pack more than you need. Many expert travelers suggest packing only half as much as you think you'll need.

* Remove all old luggage tags and clearly label your bags inside and outside with your name, address, phone, and tour group.

* Always pack heaviest items at the bottom, cover clothes with dry cleaner's bags to minimize wrinkling, and unpack as soon as possible at the hotel.

* Test the weight of your bags by walking around with them for a few minutes. Do they feel too heavy?

* Always carry money, jewelry, and prescription drugs with you. Pack an empty tote bag for items you purchase while traveling.

The intercity coach service

Intercity coach service is in competition with other means of long-distance travel, including but not limited to trains, planes, and automobile. Many other equipments are designed similarly to an airliner, with storage bins for carry-on luggage, small tables for small snacks, small televisions to show TV shows and/or videos, and individual lighting which enables passengers to choose whether to read at night or to sleep.
